An interesting concept art of the Pixel Phone 2 has appeared on the web, and it is rather convincing. There is not only that for Apple and Samsung. Google is expected to present its next smartphone, Google Pixel 2, within a few months. Meanwhile, the Concept Creator has imagined what the device might look like.
We have to do to a relatively thin and borderless smartphone. The screen occupies 80% of the front panel and we find at the back a dual photo sensor and the biometric sensor. There are also three matt colors: red, blue and gray.
Google Pixel 2: Known Factsheet
Two versions of Pixel 2 are expected. The first would offer a 4.97-inch screen. It would be AMOLED and would have a full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 835, 4 GB of RAM, between 32 and 128 GB of storage, a 2770 mAh battery and a 12-megapixel rear camera. A USB-C and jack port can be expected. The second model, the Google Pixel 2 XL, has the same technical characteristics. You would end up with a bigger screen (5.9 inches) and a 2K resolution.
On the main screen, when the location is activated, the weather is displayed (without GPS, the time is displayed). To the left of this information is a pair of Google buttons – search and voice input. When you snipe from the left to the right, you’ll see the Google screen with tips and information relevant to you (weather, currency rates, news, discount information on products that interest you – Google knows more about you than you think). The list of programs opens with a sweep from below, and closes with a reverse gesture. You can slightly open the notification curtain by moving your finger from the top edge. The second Svayp completely reveals it.
Design and equipment
From the point of view of practicality, attention should be paid to the rear glass part slightly rising above the metal. It is unlikely to survive the fall and counter scratching as well as the fourth generation of Gorilla Glass. That is, scratches will eventually appear. If this bothers you, then I recommend paying attention to stickers or covers – you can easily order them from the USA or China.
Video on the main camera is written in the resolutions 4K @ 30fps, 1080p @ 120fps and 720p @ 240fps, on the front-end – 1080p @ 30fps. Electronic stabilization of the second generation is extremely effective in conditions of sufficient illumination and adequately shows itself in the evening, however, in bad light there is a doubling of the picture, which spoils all the positive impressions of the digital camera. The noise invariably accompanies the video shooting of Pixel 2 / Pixel 2 XL not only at night on the street, but also at home with room lighting – and this is not cool.
