Audi is out with the all-new Q8 luxury SUV in 2019 featuring the quattro AWD system, dynamic exteriors, a new full width tail light integration across the width of the rear, sporty performance, double displays with MMI touch and excellent connectivity within the vehicle and with the outside world using myAudi and the Audi Connect Suite. The Audi dealer we visited near us gave us all the required information on the all-new 2019 Q8, a luxury SUV from Audi.
Chiseled Looks
The sculpted exteriors are chiseled to perfection demonstrating smart and gentle sophistication and luxury visible from every angle. The octagon shaped front grille through adds an aggressive stance and so does the high and strong shoulder line towards the rear. The subtle profiling on the exterior with gentle inclines along the window lines is purposely done to provide unobstructed view from the inside demonstrating thoughtfulness on part of the designers. The Year One package exclusively available only for 2019 adds custom Black Optic accents on the exterior, 22-inch sport wheels, red brake calipers and more. Full LED lights, a panoramic power sunshade and sunroof are standard accompaniments right from the base Q8 Premium trim itself. The Q8 Prestige features Matrix-design high definition LED headlights and dynamic animation that’s attention catching on the tail lights.
Overwhelmingly Beautiful Interiors
The interiors of the Q8 Luxury SUV are overwhelmingly beautiful to say the least. Seating surfaces are leather all the way up to the topmost trim with Valcone leather seats available for adding some ultimate luxury. The broad dashboard with smart interior inlay choices to give you the desired look and fell adds lots of synergy. The base trim gets 3-zone climate control whereas the upper two trims get 4-zone climate control that makes every nook and corner pleasurable. If you are still not satisfied, you have the Luxury Package that gives you heated and ventilated front seats with contoured comfort. These are also 18-way power adjustable and some settings have memory to store your preferences. Other interesting packages that are available are the Cold Weather Package and Ambient Interior Lighting Plus package.
Immersive Infotainment & Technology
The core of the infotainment system in the Q8 SUV is the Audi Virtual Cockpit. This gives you a digital, 12-inch LED instrument cluster which you can set to two different modes, the Classic and the Infotainment mode. Going further, Audi has added dual displays, one overlaying the dash and another in the center console, both of which come with MMI touch response. Smartphone integration, Bluetooth and more. The fact that Cruise Control, Drive Select, Rain-sensor Windshield Wipers come standard needs not special mention.
TFSI Engines & Tiptronic Transmission
All the Audi Q8’s come with a 6-Cylinder, 3L 24-valve DOHC VVT, aluminum block engine that is capable of a forceful 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Our favorite Audi dealership informed us that this us usually paired with quattro AWD Tiptronic 8-speed auto transmission. Keeping the prospective usage of such a high capability vehicle in mind, Audi has added a range of safety and driver assist technologies, an adaptive damping suspension.
